Bindi Tea Company – Packaging Concept 1
As a tea enthusiast, I created Bindi Tea Company, a fictitious brand inspired by the unique, high-quality teas cultivated in India. The name “Bindi” pays homage to the traditional colored dot or teardrop worn on the forehead by many Indian women, symbolizing the sixth chakra, or the “third eye.” This element represents wisdom, energy, and focus, reflecting the mindfulness that tea can bring to daily life. The first packaging concept uses one of the logo designs, a color and pattern palette for each specific tea, and is holds 20 pyramid-shaped tea bags. The Illustration of the woman in the wrap was created in Illustrator based on a model. Back and side panels are included for a complete design.

Inspired by the unique, high-quality teas cultivated in India. The name “Bindi” pays homage to the traditional colored dot or teardrop worn on the forehead by many Indian women, symbolizing the sixth chakra, or the “third eye.” The red dot associated with the script logo also becomes part of the illustration of a woman’s eyes. The color palette changes according to the flavor of the tea. The box is a cylinder made of craft paper and can be reused or recycled. It is intended to hold 20 circular-shaped tea bags. This design not only reflects the brand’s cultural roots but also celebrates the timeless tradition and beauty of tea.
Computer Illustrations

Various illustrations were created for a crafting magazine and a cookbook. Illustrations include step-by-step how-tos, pattern pieces, and instructions on how to construct things.
Hand Illustration

1. Watercolor “stencil” artwork was created to adorn the pages of the Taste of Home Daily Planners. I generated a countless number of small illustrations for these books. Reiman Publications.
2. The eagle was created as part of a personal study and enjoyment of birds. This watercolor and color pencil image is part of a triptych that explores different media.
Passion Projects

Rhapsody in Blue
The Creative Outlet Design Group from Reiman Publications designed and generated this Beastie for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra fundraiser. Using the musical score titled “Rhapsody in Blue” as the focus, the group of 6 artists physically wrapped the Milwaukee city skyline in blue glass around the provided Beastie shape. I worked on the “Summerfest” face of the Beastie as well as the Pettit National Ice Center, the First Wisconsin building, the Wisconsin Gas Company, the PAC, and Milwaukee bungalows at the bottom of each leg. Auction of this Beastie brought in the highest bid of all, $20,000.
