The success and cult following of the Monty Python comedy troupe is due to many factors. They pushed forward the revolutionary comedic force of satirizing political and authority figures and institutions, as well as including virtually every location and type of person on the planet in their sketches. Another key to their style was their openness to making abnormal matches - old ladies that form gangs, accountants who wish to be lion tamers but think that anteaters are lions, and so on. Their knowledge of their culture and ability to both see and create incongruities are at the base of their talent .This is how I like to relax and remove myself, freeing my mind to be able to make new unexpected matches.
